The short version

OK Remote connects your phone to your own computers. What you do in your sessions — code, files, terminal output, conversations with agents — travels end-to-end encrypted between your devices. Our servers coordinate the connection; they don't read, store, or analyze its contents.

What we collect

• Account: your email address, used to sign in and to send one-time login codes.
• Devices: for each phone or computer you connect — a nickname (often the device's name), a cryptographic connection identifier, and when it last contacted our servers.
• Notifications: when a session finishes a task, your computer sends a short notification (e.g. a session title and summary line) through our servers to Apple's push service. Delivered, not retained.
• Analytics & crash reports: the website sends anonymous pageview and usage events to PostHog. The iOS app sends usage events to PostHog and crash reports to Sentry, tied to your account so we can fix problems and improve the product. These describe how the site and app are used — never the contents of your sessions.
• Model spend totals: when a session finishes a turn, your computer reports aggregate token counts and estimated model spend for that session to our servers. Counts and totals only — never the conversation, files, or prompts.
• Host crash reports: the computer-side host may send crash reports to Sentry, tagged with that computer's connection identifier (not your email), so we can fix host bugs. Paths that would identify your projects are scrubbed before they leave the machine.

What we never see

Session traffic is encrypted end-to-end between your phone and your computer. Your code, files, commands, and agent conversations are not visible to us — even when traffic is relayed through our infrastructure, it is ciphertext we cannot read.

Who we share with

Service providers only, each for one job: Apple (push notifications), Resend (login-code emails), PostHog (website and app analytics), Sentry (crash reports), and our hosting providers. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it for advertising.

Retention & deletion

You can remove any device from your account in the app, which revokes its access immediately. To delete your account and its data entirely, open Profile Settings in the app and tap Delete Account — this permanently removes your account, unpairs your computers, and signs you out on every device.
